Computing is embedded in all areas of the curriculum to support teaching and learning. Every classroom has an interactive whiteboard and the whole school has access to a wireless connection to the Internet via broadband. Children in all year groups have regular access to class sets of laptops and notebooks. Other aspects of Computing are developed through the use of data logging equipment, computer aided microscopes, digital still and video cameras, video-conferencing via web-cam, programmable robots, metal detectors and walkie-talkies. The school has a policy for safe use of the Internet supported by security software which only allows access to approved sites.
