From September 2026, Bridge & Patrixbourne CEP School will be using MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) as our new parent communication app.
MCAS provides parents and carers with a simple, secure way to stay connected with school. Through the app, you’ll be able to access important information about your child, receive school communications and manage many day-to-day aspects of school life in one convenient place.
What can I use MCAS for?
MCAS allows you to:
- Receive messages and announcements from school
- Report your child’s absence
- View attendance information
- Make payments for trips, clubs and other activities
- Book parents’ evening appointments
- Give consent for educational visits and activities
- Update your contact details
- Complete online forms
As we continue to develop our use of MCAS, additional features may be introduced to make communication between home and school even easier.
Getting Started
Before the start of the new academic year, parents and carers will receive an email containing instructions on how to activate their MCAS account.
The app is available free of charge for both Apple and Android devices and can also be accessed through a web browser.
We recommend activating your account as soon as you receive your invitation to ensure you’re ready to receive important information from the first day of term.
Need Help?
If you experience any difficulties setting up or accessing your MCAS account, please contact the school office. We’ll be happy to help you get started.
We look forward to using MCAS to strengthen communication between home and school and make it even easier for parents and carers to stay informed about school life.
