On Tuesday 3rd March, pupils from Years 3 to 6 travelled to Chartham Primary School to take part in an exciting cross-country event alongside other local schools.
When we arrived, we were shown the route around the enormous field where the races would take place. It was a challenging course that tested both stamina and determination.
The first race was for the Year 3 and 4 girls and boys. They completed one full lap of the field and ran brilliantly, showing great effort and determination throughout. Several of our runners achieved excellent results, with a couple finishing in the top ten.
Next up were the Year 5 and 6 races. Once again, our pupils represented the school superbly. A special mention goes to Finn, who finished in an impressive 3rd place, while Alfie, Betsy and Raef also secured places in the top ten.
All of the pupils demonstrated fantastic teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship, and we are incredibly proud of the way they represented the school.
A big thank you goes to Mrs Langston, Mrs Brooks, Mrs McCoy and Mrs McInnes for supporting the pupils and accompanying them to the event.
Well done to everyone who took part!
