Term 5 was very short but Year 1 still had lots of fun and explored in Forest School.
We looked at the frog life cycle and read a story. We planted seeds as well as our new vegetable plants in the polytunnel.
We played the hoop teamwork game and an observation game. Children learned about the ancient Japanese art of printing - called HAPA ZOME - where they hammered fresh petals and leaves onto fabric and the juices of the plants transferred over.
Some of the children found a protected stag beetle which we observed and found information about it in a book. Enjoy your half term in the sunshine.
