Today, Year 2 boarded their very own flight to Jakarta, which is ( as they will tell you) the capital city of Indonesia. “Go down and turn right,” as one passenger confidently said! When we arrived Year 2 found torrential rain ( there are only two seasons, wet and dry). Once we had splashed around we visited the mountains where it was freezing; the jungles where it was hot and damp and full of creatures. We went scuba diving too. After that, we were fairly hungry and cooked some traditional food and helped to build some traditional homes as well. We had a great time and learnt lots to support our Geography learning all through a wonderful morning of exciting drama.
