As a Christian school we wish to strengthen and build relationships with other schools and communities. Last week we introduced a group of our pupils to those of Brabourne Church of England School for the first time; our intention is to build and develop a collaborative relationship within the Arts. Both schools are working towards the Artsmark and we hope to support each other through the process (and make new friends along the way).
Last week, we invited 15 Year 5 Brabourne pupils to our school to take part in an art workshop alongside 15 Bridge pupils. The children got to know each other while taking part in a food-less tea party. The outcome was a large-scale drawing (of the food they would have liked to eat and share). It was great fun and the children quickly became friends. We plan to work with Brabourne CEP again next academic year.
