Year 5 gave a warm welcome to Murray from the Canterbury Beaney this week; he came to introduce their upcoming art exhibition, Living with Art: An extraordinary collection from an ordinary home.

Along with other local schools, we have been invited to contribute to the exhibition – responses to artworks and a small display of our children’s 3D artwork.

During his visit, Murray showed the children some photographs of the art in the museum collection and helped the children to respond and talk about it. Pupils then described, responded and began to interpret artwork from the Living with Art exhibition. Some of these responses with be beside the artworks in the Beaney gallery.

This is a very exciting opportunity; we will keep you posted. Thank you Murray!
